2013 – CLID pursues its growth and development strategy in opening a subsidiary office in Brazil: CLID DO BRASIL.
2010 - The SIMA company, manufacturer of paint booths and drying ovens, becomes the major shareholder of CLID SYSTEMES. Our company is then integrated into the Saca Group, which is composed of a group of companies that can offer products, engineering expertise and services within the domain of paint application and surface treatment. The head office is moved to La Chapelle d’Armentières.
2008 - The company structure changes with the creation of "CLID SERVICES" holding with its 2 subsidiaries: "CLID INDUSTRIE" and "CLID SYSTEMES".
2006 - Creation of a second engineering department following the acquisition of Haden in Valence. The Valence site now has a paint booth with integrated robots and a drying oven to test the feasibility and performance of the developed solutions, before installation on a customer’s site.
2003 - CLID starts a phase of external growth by acquiring the STI company in Tours, France. In 2006, CLID acquires Haden in Valence and in 2007, SOGIT in Nancy. Finally, in 2008, the surface treatment activity is acquired from AirFlux HBN in Rouen.
1995 - First installations in partnership with AIS (Air Industry Systemes), which was acquired afterwards by GEC Alsthom, and then Dürr.
1994 - Creation of an engineering department and the ¨Systèmes¨ activity. A new boundary was broken with the design and installation of a complete system for paint distribution on a regional automobile subcontractor’s site.
1991 - The headquarters are transferred to a new 4000 m² site with the creation of the first test laboratory which includes a paint booth, an overhead conveyor and a drying oven; this facility helps to confirm technical choices as well as to propose the appropriate equipment according to customers’ requirements. It also was means of guaranteeing the expected results with respect to their investments.
1967 - CLID stops selling paint to concentrate on the distribution of paint spraying equipment and compressed air supply. Distribution contracts are signed with the main world reputed manufacturers such as Graco, Devilbiss, Sames, Kew Alto and Nederman.
1954 - The company moves on to the distribution of associated equipment and starts selling paint sprays for industrial paints and anti-corrosion products : creation of "Le Comptoir Lillois Industriel de Distribution" (CLID).
